What are the benefits of replacing the gas inside car tires with nitrogen?

    1. Reduce tire blowouts: When a car is in motion, the tires will heat up rapidly due to friction with the ground. Especially during high-speed driving, the temperature of the gas inside the tires rises sharply, causing the tire pressure to increase suddenly, which is why tire blowouts occur.

    2. Extending tire lifespan: After using nitrogen, the tire pressure becomes more stable, and the volume change of the gas inside the tire is smaller. This significantly reduces the irregular friction of the tires, thereby indirectly prolonging the lifespan of the tires. Additionally, the aging of tire rubber is caused by oxidation by oxygen molecules. Nitrogen can greatly eliminate oxygen, sulfur, oil, water, and most impurities in the air, thus extending the lifespan of the tires and reducing the occurrence of wheel rust.

    3. Reduce fuel consumption: During the driving of a car, insufficient tire pressure and the increase in resistance due to heat can lead to an increase in fuel consumption. Nitrogen-filled tires can maintain a very stable tire pressure. The low thermal conductivity and slow heating rate of nitrogen also effectively reduce the increase in tire temperature at high speeds, thereby reducing rolling resistance and achieving a significant reduction in fuel consumption.

Due to its inert gas properties, nitrogen is not flammable and has good heat stability. It is usually used in very specialized tire applications or in harsh environments.
